KARI QUINN
D.AC. L.AC., LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST
Dr. Kari Quinn specializes in women’s health, pain management/sports performance, mental health and spiritual well being. She does this through acupuncture, tuina, reiki and Chinese nutritional therapy. Kari’s clinical practice ranges from helping her patients recover from emotional trauma, physical pain, chronic disorders, and spiritual development. She uses 5 element acupuncture, TCM (traditional Chinese medicine), and trigger point acupuncture with electric stimulation.
Kari played Division 1 soccer in college where she unfortunately endured a tragic injury during a game and was told she would never run again. She was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (hashimoto's thyroiditis). Kari began to seek alternative ways to heal her body and mind as she stumbled upon acupuncture and chiropractic care. These treatments greatly accelerated her healing process on a body, mind, and spiritual level. She was soon able to run and play soccer recreationally 1 year later, as well as her blood work reporting her thyroid levels were completely normal. Kari also felt a sense of a deeper connection to herself and her life purpose through acupuncture treatments.
Kari completed her masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Maryland University of Integrative Health, while she is continuing on her education in the Acupuncture Doctorate program. Kari has recently returned from volunteering overseas with Acupuncturists Without Borders in Greece.
